Key PointsIn order to assist and advise our customers, it is important to note, as all our radiators are cast using traditional methods and casting moulds, there will be slight imperfections and fettling marks on our radiators and this is how we have always wanted to supply them.
This is because we are passionate about wanting to supply our cast iron radiators which have the appearance and authenticity of being many many decades old, but with the features and guarantees associated with that of a modern radiator.
An important point to note for some..... The lighter the colour of your radiator the more these slight marks will possibly be noticed due to shadowing etc and the lighter colours such as Cream White are likely to require touching up more often to keep free from accidental scuffs and knocks.
On the other hand, for obvious reasons, the darker the colour, the more forgiving and less likely these marks will be noticed and as such, these are much easier to ensure the always look in 'Tip Top' condition.

Standard finish to all cast iron radiators is a cellulose base coat.

As the radiators are hand assembled, all dimensions are approximate. We therefore advise that pipework should only be put in place once the radiator has been delivered.
Bush Ends
All bush ends/caps will only be hand tight to allow customers to interchange if on a gravity fed heating system & will need fitting correctly when installed with PTFE etc.
Accessories & Bleed Valves
All Fittings (Valves, Wall stays, Shrouds etc) ordered will be placed in a box located on top of the top radiator. Air Vents/bleed valves will be inside this box, within a SEALED ORANGE BAG stating 'Bleed Valves Enclosed', and stapled to the yellow A3 sheet with our Fitting Instructions. You MUST check it's content upon delivery & report any missing items immediately.

Our Cast Iron Radiators are guaranteed for a period of 10 years, Valves for 2 years and all other products (excluding reclaimed products or where specified) for 1 year from the date of the Purchaser’s invoice to be free from any manufacturing defects. The Company will replace any goods found faulty due to manufacturing or workmanship defects, free of charge within this period, subject to the following exceptions:

We always advise you to wait for your cast iron radiators to be onsite before working out pipe work and pipe centres widths. This is because cast iron is not an exact product and because each radiator is hand assembled there will always be slight discrepancies as indicated on each radiator page in the lengths of same style & size radiators.
However, we appreciate that occasionally some prep work may need to be carried out prior to your order arriving onsite and that approximate pipe centre measurements may be required for first fix purposes.
In this instance, please refer to the technical drawing/specification document, saved as a PDF on each individual valve type, for the measurement from the thread on the valve tail to the centre point of the valve, and add this to the length of your radiator to work out your approximate pipe centre measurement.
For example, if fitting one of our Kenilworth Thermostatic Valve Sets, which has a measurement of 45mm from thread on the valve tail to the centre point of the valve, to a 10 section, Traditional Victorian radiator at 650mm wide, the approximate pipe centre measurement would be 740mm.
For the approximate measurement off the skirting board or wall if no skirting is used to the pipe centre we suggest half the depth of the cast iron radiator + 10mm as a minimum.
For the approximate ‘outside valve to outside valve measurement’ (the minimum measurement to be able to operate the valves freely) you should add approx. 150mm/6.0” to the length indicated for each radiator in the Specification tab, however this measurement will vary depending on the valve that is fitted - this measurement should be used if fitting the radiator and valves into an area where there may be a width restriction.

DELIVERY LEAD TIMES - Lead times to despatch are now shown live on the website and we will always do our utmost to keep to stated times.
All radiator pallet deliveries are made on a 7.5t Lorry (the smallest vehicle we can book) with tail lift to kerb side only or nearest hard standing and are based on a 'Book In & Signed For' All Day service (9.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. - Week days only).
Once the order has been booked out for despatch, you will receive status emails periodically from Mobile People Powered Logistics (Mobile PPL), our delivery partner, to confirm receipt of the order, confirmation of the pallet being scanned to a delivery vehicle (with ETA), and then confirmation of delivery completed.
Alternative ‘All Day’ dates will be available at no additional cost to suit.
Upgraded to services such as Next Day delivery, Dedicated Day a.m. or p.m., timed delivery windows and Saturday deliveries where available are available for an additional charge to be paid directly with Mobile PPL only.
RED ROUTES & RESTRICTIVE PARKING - Please note drivers are unable to park on double yellow or red lines due to the risk of a parking ticket.
ACCESS - Please inform us if there are any access restrictions at your delivery point (such as 7.5T weight restrictions or height restricted bridges).
If you require a 'Dedicated Day' (working week day) for delivery to ensure you have help to hand you must indicate this in the message box at checkout. Please note that this may delay delivery slightly. This will still be a kerb side only or nearest hard standing service. For Saturday delivery, there will be an additional charge on top of the standard delivery charge quoted if this service is available.
We must stress that a Pallet Delivery Service is always kerbside only. The drivers are not insured to assist you with any aspect of moving the goods from the kerbside. This is to remove any potential risk of personal injury or damage to your goods, or your property. We remind you that it is not in your interest to encourage a driver to assist you in any way that falls outside of his responsibility. If, in the event the driver does agree to assist you, we assume you accept full responsibility for any subsequent damage to any person, or property and by doing so you will void any right to make a subsequent Insurance claim.
Care should be taken when removing radiator(s) from the pallet on delivery. Radiators should be lifted off and NOT dragged/pulled as this will result in paintwork being damaged. When removed from the pallet, all radiators must be carried in an upright position to prevent damaged to joints.
If any items are deemed to be missing from any order, we must be contacted immediately (not longer than 2 days from receipt) via email. Failure to do so will result in additional items supplied being charged to the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential costs incurred due to any shortfalls which have not been notified within the timescales above.

You MUST ensure your vehicle is suitable to take the order safely, you are able to easily load and unload all radiators safely (remember the radiators are very heavy) and that all radiators can be supported and MUST be fully support when laid flat. We will not accept responsibility for damage caused subsequent to collection.

Is over engineering a waste or a sign of luxurious quality? I think we know the answer and I promise this product is luxury. The heat radiated is smooth, I can not explain but you get a more cosy feeling, plus the styling breathtaking. I think it’s safe to say I like the product but what an about the service? Second to none. Top quality communication, easy stuff to talk to and the texting, emails and delivery was brilliant.
Ordered this piece a while ago but only just now fittted it into my new kitchen. It is beautiful. It finishes my kitchen perfectly. Only have to have heating on for an hour and it keeps the room warm for ages after. Might have to buy more for the other rooms

Took the plunge and ordered a bespoke radiator that would fit our new bathroom, it was competitive in price , and we couldn’t get it painted for the £26 it cost, after ordering an e mail was sent to advise delivery,

Lovely radiator. Fitting it was expensive though. Delivery dodgy - the large lorry couldn’t get up my lane past a car parked inconsiderately. I was lucky the driver didn’t take it back for delivery to be re-scheduled, after pleading with him that a plumber was due to fit it next day along with my new boiler. Cast Iron Radiator Centre made no attempt to get it to me more quickly to fit in with that plan.

We chose matt black, and the finish is gorgeous. The Art Nouveau is perfect for our renovated 17th Century cottage. The room has been guttted and revealed the stonework of a huge old village backery oven, so the radiator compliments the nostalgic/semi industiral decor. The Gun Metal valve really sets it off and we're delighted with the result. The ordering was really easy and customer care has been great. We'll definitely be back for the next room to be renovated!

Really excellent service. Delivered slightly later than originally planned, and REALLY impossible for me to lift, even with help, but I had been warned about the weight. I would recommend that help is organised in advance of delivery in order to get the rads to the room where they will be fitted. I have a contact in the removal business who very kindly came to my aid. Now fitted the 2 rads really look at home in my Victorian terrace. Highly recommended.

I now own 4 of these fantastic antique brass art nouveau cast iron radiators. Period pieces for a Victorian apartment. Not only are they stunning to look at, they are extremely effective and efficient . My plumber is in love with them, and is very impressed with the craftsmanship. So, even if I get carried away with how beautiful they are, the professional is also very taken with them! Great service as well, and very easy to order. Shame I have no room for anymore. But I have 4 so am very happy. They are HEAVY!! But so worth the inconvenience if lugging them up 39 stairs. .
I can’t tell you how happy I am with my antique bronze radiator. The quality is amazing and the service has been so good all the way through. I can’t stress enough how heavy the radiator is though, I dismissed it and thought ‘how heavy can it be’ well it’s bloody heavy! But absolutely worth it, just don’t think you’ll be able to lift it on your own like this idiot!!

We have 4 of these radiators already and have added a fifth in the study. Experience has taught us to go smaller than you think in terms of BTU and sections so this little 6 section will be more than enough to heat the tall room. We always go for matt black primer finish as we like its luxurious look. Only 2 more rooms to go!!

It was very helpful that on the website when ordering all the appropriate attachments etc which I needed were listed. I would not have had a clue otherwise. I ordered 2 of the ornate radiators, a 6 column and a 14 column in matt black with antique brass wall stays. (I already had antique brass valves) These radiators are stunning! I need 2 more and will be ordering without a doubt, just as soon as I’m ready to decorate. They look absolutely amazing, completely transform your room. And as for heat, they work so much better than standard, modern radiators. These stay hot long after my others are freezing! Thanks!

Bought this and it is perfect. Customer service was great, delivery superb and it looks absolutely stunning. I went for the Antique Bronze one and the largest available size as I needed it to heat a large room and absolutely would recommend. I bought all of the accessories as well including the Bentley Valves. Absolutely worth the money.
One point to note is that it is very heavy, I mean VERY heavy (mine was 119kgs) and it will need 2 people to life both from delivery and into place.
Do not let this put you off though and I will be buying more of this!

My plumber is in love with the radiator, especially the valves, I secretly think if he could he would run off with it! We already have 2 of these radiators (a 4 section and 9 section) and ordered a further 2 (a 4 section and 12 section). Quality of the product is exceptional. We prefer the black primer look and this works well in our house. products were made quickly and delivered (if only health and safety or insurance would allow the guys to lift it into the house (12 sections is very heavy). Just can't fault the company or the product. Still 2 more rooms to do. We find that the BTU calculators tend to over predict. Our house is plenty warm and we have got less sections generally than the calculator suggest, but we have a well insulated house so take this into account people. Great service, great product, great price!!

I can't imagine how this radiator could be better. I was thinking of buying an old one but recently had a new boiler installed, and god knows what has been through reclaimed rads. One thing I didn't realise is how warm it remains after the heating has gone off, so I don't need to use as much gas for the central heating now. Great delivery and communication as well.

2nd radiator we've bought ,it's as brilliant as the last one.Super hot as stays warm for at least 2 hours after heating is turned off. It was/is very heavy (17 stones) so we did struggle a bit but well worth the scratches on the wooden floor

I never knew I could love a radiator! I was excited when I decided to order it and the whole process was brilliant and efficient. I was contacted regularly throughout the ordering and delivery process. I recommend the product and Cast Iron Radiator Centre. The radiator is now in place and a wonderful feature to my bathroom, I added all the extras to keep the radiator in keeping with its style.
We have already purchased a radiator in this style and are very happy with it. They pump out a fair bit of heat so in general we have calculated our BTU for the size of room and then taken off 1-2 sections as the house is very well insulated and upstairs remains pretty warm. So this small 4 section radiator looks great. Come winter we will test its heat output

They look great and are totally in keeping with the age of our cottage, we have had so many comments from visitors. They warm up really quickly and hold the heat long after any modern radiator. Simply stunning radiators. I plumped for the matt black finish and I am not disappointed; I now want them in every room. They heat up to roasting hot temperatures and stay toasty warm long after the boiler is resting; so, economical as well as being the new house eye candy.

We took delivery of 2 of these radiators last week and although we are not ready to plumb them in yet, we are delighted with the quality and how stylish they are considering they were only ordered from an online photo.
The website made ordering simple and the communication with the despatch team was very efficient. Delivery was as scheduled despite us being quite rural up a narrow lane and the driver was polite and helpful.
One of the valve nuts didn’t tighten properly on inspection after delivery, but within 48 hours of reporting this over a weekend, a replacement one was delivered.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cast Iron Radiator Centre.
Fantastic radiator looks amazing and the heat that comes off it . Almost killed the plumber as he had to take it up 3 flight of stairs
The website was easy to navigate with regard to selecting the style and configuration of the radiator. We were kept informed of the delivery status and it arrived on time - although a twelve hour delivery window given by the carrier was not so helpful. The only downside to the website is the colour reproduction, what we thought we were going to get wasn't quite what we saw, so that's the caveat - if you can go and have a look at the finishes in the flesh.

Good product, good value and well priced. I have ordered 4 radiators over two orders and not had any issue. Although kerbside delivery once order was placed I was able to intercept the delivery schedule and collect from local haulier.

The units were delivered in good time and by a good delivery carrier the radiators are excellent quality and we love them, they give out such a lot of heat compared to modern radiators, but we do have a Victorian House.

We initially ordered our cast iron radiator in gunmetal grey for our new hallway/porch - once in situ everyone coming in to our house commented on how lovely it looked. We always knew we were going to put similiar radiators in our kitchen and inner hallway. They have just arrived and they look wonderful - we are just waiting for them to be fitted, can't wait. The service we received from the Cast-iron-radiator-centre was very good and all went to plan. The courier contacted us as expected and delivery was straight forward. The radiators though small are quite heavy (especially the 9 column) but we used a 'porters' trolley to bring them up the drive so we managed perfectly well - they would be heavy for one person to manage so arrange to get help. Having said all this the radiators seem very good value for money - they look solid and good quality and the patterning design is not too fussy.
Arrived as was advised they look really good will be fitted in 6
months so cannot say how hot they get till then
Delivered within time stayed, well packaged and bronze art nouveau radiator looks absolutely stunning- will be a real feature in the hall !
Beautiful radiators - they are works of art! Bought 4 so far and we are gradually changing all in our house to these. They also use an excellent courier company who brought radiators into the house for me. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Extremely pleased with everything. The radiator looks stunning, as well as the valves. I am not one to go on about this sort of stuff, but I spent a lot on this, and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It sets my new country kitchen off well. Above all else, my wife loves it, which in the end makes my life easier!!! Postage was expensive, but the weight of the thing explained all. Delivered when they said it would be. I can find no fault at all. I have another project planned for 6 months time. Will use this company again.
The radiator is perfect for our hallway. The physical size for the btu output is vey good and it looks great. It was easy to install and there are no leaks and to cap it off, it was a really good price.

My second purchase of an excellent well priced product
We researched a lot for this product and after reading reviews we went for your radiator. After ordering it arrived promptly. I had read the courier instructions about kerbside delivery but even so I was disappointed with the drivers attitude. I live on a busy main road and would have hoped that with the weight of the radiator he could have helped me to move it the 10 metres to my front door. As he wouldn't I decided to open it on the main road to inspect the contents. He commented that he didn't understand why your firm instructed this which I found strange. Once I was happy with the contents he climbed back into his van planning his next drop for the following 5 minutes whilst I struggled to stand the radiator up never mind move it. What would have taken two men a minute to move took me the best part of an hour to move on my own. It had to be moved immediately as I had almost £500 of merchandise sat on a busy main road. A week later the radiator is installed, looks and works fantastic. To sum up I am made up with the product but my overall experience has been soured by your courier's driver. I would suggest that maybe you should look at alternatives as after all I did pay £50 for the privilege and expected better. Thanks for a great radiator.

Regarding the delivery, we do try to make sure that all customers know it is a strict kerb side delivery so that they can make arrangements to have assistance available for when delivery takes place.
In fairness to the driver, he will be under strict instructions to adhere to this policy for insurances purposes to cover both the customer & himself.
We hope that the delivery service was as stated on our website and we try to be completely transparent about the service availlable. We have looked into alternative services involving two person delivery, but this has proved to be extremley expensive.

Very pleased with the quality of this and the price. It has transformed the bedroom and is a real feature rather than something to hide. Note - these are VERY heavy and some careful planning was required to manouvre the radiator upstairs. The service was also great and delivery was on a pallet and well packaged to avoid damages. Will definitely buy again when we start on our next room renovation.
I bought 2 radiators a couple of years I'm a returning customer as the service I received was first class. I'm a heating engineer by trade so I have the opportunity to source this type of raditor from different suppliers. I always recommend cast iron radiator centre when asked for this style of radiator.

The radiators look great, but they are extremely heavy and we struggled to get them indoors, consequently we scratched the paintwork on the feet, so need so touch up paint. Not had them fitted yet.

I asked if they could call half an hour before arriving to ensure there would be someone in and they did. The product is excellent and great value for money. Bought two rads,one on line and one over the phone.Excellent and friendly service.Received both a week later! Would use again and recommend this company highly.
Goods were exactly as pictured and as described. No delays in delivery, no damage on receipt. The radiator is very heavy and came on a small wooden pallet, requires two persons to safely lift, especially up stairs. I cant comment on its operation as it hasn't been connected to the heating system yet. Overall I am delighted with the buy and recomend for those looking for an autentic looking period radiator.
