We recently announced the winner of our latest #MyRadRocks competition, but this one was a little bit different to previous competitions.
In the past, we’ve had a single winner, but this time we wanted to open it up to a vote. We selected four finalists and shared their radiator images. We received an overwhelming response to this competition and we hope it provided you with lots of inspiration for your own home renovation projects.
#MyRadRocks is our flagship competition where we invite you to share your home design projects featuring our stunning radiators. We love to see how you style them and how you make them stand out in your homes.
After we package up your radiators and send them to their new home, we’re always a little bit curious about how you’ll style them. And the MyRadRocks competition is a perfect opportunity for us to see them in action.
We had an overwhelming number of incredible entries on our website and on social media. It was such a difficult task whittling it down to just four finalists, but these were our favourite entries that really captured the versatility and captivating beauty of traditional radiators.
This stunning bedroom ensuite was submitted by Amy Small, aka @petite_cottage_reno. Their French-inspired cottage in Hampshire is quite simply a dream.
We love the checkerboard flooring, that warm mustard shade and the angled bathtub with a perfectly placed wine table. It’s the little details that bring this space together. And obviously, we love the placement of our traditional column radiator in satin black with antique brass valves below the window.
It’s difficult to say which part of this we love the most. Is it the stunning tiled floor? The mirror? The stained glass? Or the chandelier? Obviously, it’s the choice of radiator! Steal this look with the traditional 4 column cast iron radiator in satin black with antique brass thermostatic valves and matching antique brass wall stays.
We love how Lauren, aka @from_house_to_home_84 has approached this grand entrance and worked with the abundance of original features to achieve a showstopping finish.
The word serenity comes to mind when we see this image. It is tranquil minimalism at its finest, and we love the calming tones. But look closer and you’ll see something unique and truly original.
Is that carpet? And a cast iron radiator? While cast iron radiators are typically placed on hardwood floors, Hannah didn’t want to sacrifice cosinesss. So she created a little plinth for her traditional 4 column cast iron radiator so she could enjoy the best of both worlds. The black nickel thermostatic valves fit perfectly with the monochromatic theme.
Head to Hannah’s Instagram to see some incredible before and after transformations to get you inspired!
A quick glance at Amy’s Instagram, and you’ll know she loves a warm neutral shade. The sunlight streaming in through the shutters brings this space together, while the straight lines of the radiator and the shutters pair perfectly with the curved custom wardrobe.
This is a perfect example of how a small radiator can be highly effective in a compact space. We love the short satin black 4 column radiator, paired with the warmth of the brass thermostatic valves and lacquered brass wall stays.
The votes were counted, and we are pleased to announce that @petite_cottage_reno took the top prize. Everyone loved this unique space, offering the perfect place to unwind.
Amy opted for a radiator voucher from us, and we can’t wait to see what she does next! Keep your eyes peeled for our feature on Amy’s Hampshire cottage renovation with unmistakable French farmhouse style.
